Lizzo electrified the fans at the VMAs on August 28, 2018. Lizzo, who recently released her new album, "Special," on July 15, performed "About Damn Time" and "2 Be Loved (Am I Ready)" without accompaniment.

Unlike her normal performances, in which Lizzo is accompanied by her her entourage of dancers, she took to the stage alone, entertaining the audience with her now well-known solo dance moves.

Lizzo, who won five prizes in the August VMAs, was rewarded for her performance in the categories of the artist of the year, song of the year, video of the year, and artist of pop/rock.

Her single "About Damn Time" hit No. 1 on an undated Billboard Hot 100 chart, nearly two years after "Truth Hurts" hit the top.

Harry Styles's "As It Was" is removed from the top of the Billboard album charts, allowing Styles to have his way and send her flowers afterward in a delightful gesture of solidarity.

Lizzo has recently dropped a music video about "2 Be Loved" (Am I Ready). To support her shapewear line, Kitty, she's been showcasing her hot-pink beachwear collection.

At a time when significant numbers of millennials aspire to be ballerinas, Lizzo has been promoting a career in ballet through her patterns and dance-themed cosmetics.

Lizzo is one of a number of artists who were featured at the MTV VMAs in 2019.

Other performers included Blackpink, M neskin, and Jack Harlow, who opened the show with a performance of "First Class" with Fergie, whose song he sampled in the track.

Enjoy Lizzo's performance with anticipation!
