Kelvin Harrison Jr. is a professional basketball player who was drafted by the Boston Celtics in the first round of the 2014 NBA Draft. He played college basketball for the Kentucky Wildcats, where he was named to the All-SEC First Team and earned SEC Player of the Year honors as a senior.

Kelvin Harrison Jr. started his professional career by playing college basketball at the University of Miami. He was a key player on the team and led them to two national championships. After graduating from Miami, he was drafted in the first round of the 2013 NBA draft by the Cleveland Cavaliers.

attended the University of Michigan where he played for the Wolverines under head coach John Beilein. At Michigan, he became one of the most consistent players in college basketball history, becoming an All-American twice.

In 2016, the Boston Red Sox selected outfielder Kelvin Harrison Jr. with the 33rd overall pick in the MLB Draft. Harrison was coming off a standout collegiate career at Florida State where he batted. 359 with 24 home runs and 116 RBIs.

He was widely considered to be a potential top-10 pick, but Boston took a chance on him due to concerns about his power-hitting ability in a hitter-friendly ballpark like Fenway Park. Fast forward three years and it’s clear that the Sox made an excellent decision drafting Harrison.

Through his first two seasons in the major leagues, he has hit .269 with 17 home runs and 65 RBIs all career highs. What’s more impressive is that he has done all of this while playing in one of baseball’s most difficult parks to hit in.
